Message: I went to buy cassette spacers because i needed them urgently to fix my bike so i can be in time to work, they were so kind they even gave them to me for free which is something unusual because im not their regular client, which means that they are looking after to help people and not to rip them out when fixing their bikes and that is very important because we cannot know how much every part cost and how much bike shops charge us, you can trust those guys there.

Message: I placed my hybrid mountain cycle with Picton Cycles earlier this month. Now, I have rode this bike for a number of year daily and other than a replacement back axle I have had no professional repairs, so I knew it was in need of a fair bit of TLC. When I took my cycle in I was advised it could be a week or more before it could be looked. To my my surprise it was worked on and repaired with 4 days, just in time for my return to work. I had a lot of repairs completed on the bike and some things that could have been changed were not, and I was advised if they failed I would only pay for the part.. Ian, thank you so much for your technical skills on working on my bike and completing the work so quickly. The difference in my ride is fantastic!

As a former mechanic myself, I can be very picky with the jobs I don't want to buy the tools for myself, but everything from bartape to gear services and disc brake bleeds was always done to a top quality standard.

Message: Cyclocross bike had a knackered headset feeling rough and not turning freely. Took it apart and discovered it was a right mess (see photo). Had no idea what was needed to get it sorted so took it in to Picton. Headset replaced and now smooth as butter. Well pleased.
